Rhode Island’s New E-Bike Rebate Program

Are you a Rhode Island resident considering buying an electric bicycle? You may be eligible for a rebate through the state's Erika Niedowski Memorial Electric Bicycle Rebate Program. This program helps offset the cost of e-bikes, making them more affordable for residents.

Great news for Rhode Island residents looking to go electric! The state has recently re-launched the Erika Niedowski Memorial Electric Bicycle Rebate Program, designed to make e-bikes more affordable and accessible. This program could be a game-changer.

Per the RI state website, “Standard Rebate: Save up to $350, or 30% (whichever is less) of the final purchase of an e-bike, or e-cargo bike. Limit of 2 rebates per household.  Income-Qualified Rebate: Save up to $750, or 75% (whichever is less) on the total purchase of an e-bike, or e-cargo bike. Limit of 2 rebates per household."

This program makes it easier for more people to enjoy the convenience and cost savings of e-bikes while reducing their carbon footprint.

To qualify, Rhode Island residents need to purchase an eligible e-bike from a participating retailer. The program emphasizes promoting clean transportation options and honors the legacy of Erika Niedowski, a strong advocate for sustainable mobility.
